Summer Volunteering at MCM

School is almost out, and some of you may be thinking of ways to volunteer your time over the summer months. Mooresville Christian Mission has several areas where you can help:
CHILD CARE SERVICES,Educational Center, Beam Drive:Volunteers to provide babysitting services, along with planning activities, for
children of our clients and volunteers while they attend our Circles and Getting
Ahead programs. All of these events take place at our Educational Center on
Beam Drive.
Circles Initiative:Tuesday evenings (6:00-8:00) -- 3 volunteers needed
Wednesday lunches (11:30-1:00) -- 2 volunteers needed
Getting Ahead Program:Tuesday Mornings (10:00-12:30) -- 2 volunteers needed
Thursday Mornings (10:00-12:30) -- 2 volunteers needed
WAREHOUSE (M,T,S), 266 N. Broad Street:Volunteers to receive and sort incoming donations to the Mission particularly
on Saturdays. The warehouse hours are 9:00-4:00 and volunteers usually are
scheduled in two to three hour increments. (Please note: volunteers over the age of 16 during inventory June 18-30.)
YARD WORK, Educational Center, Beam Drive:Volunteers to provide regular yard maintenance including mowing the lawn and
trimming.

MONTHLY YARD SALE, Educational Center, Beam Drive:
Volunteers to assist in preparing for Monthly Yard Sales (second Saturday of each month). Assistance is needed the week prior as well as the day of the Yard Sale.
FOOD AND CLOTHING DRIVES:Volunteers to conduct community food and clothing drives. The Mission is always in need of donations. Your efforts to conduct a food or clothing drive in your community are greatly appreciated. Please contact us for our current needs.
